Dr. Brandon Thornton

Dr. Brandon Thornton is the Co-Owner & CEO of Steep Hill Arkansas a cannabis science company with a focus on analytical testing. He also provides pharmacist consultant solutions to cannabis businesses, including development of formulations, staff training on compounding methods, and creation of educational materials for patients. He formerly served as the Vice President of Pharmacy Operations for Custom Pharmacy Solutions in Birmingham, AL from 2009-2017. He managed all operational and sales activities of this national licensed compounding pharmacy operating in 43 states with annual sales that have exceeded $15M. He previously served as the Director of Pharmacy Operations for CHD Meridian Healthcare in Nashville, TN from 2005-2009. Dr. Thornton also has experience working in the Food and Drug Administration MedWatch program in Rockville, MD in 1999. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from McWhorter School of Pharmacy at Samford University and is licensed to practice pharmacy in seven states included Arkansas. He is a member of the Society of Cannabis Clinicians and has completed detailed cannabis training through their TCMI program. He serves on the Board of the Arkansas Cannabis Industry Association and resides in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Brent Whittington

Brent Whittington is the Co-Owner of Steep Hill Arkansas, a cannabis science and technology company with extensive expertise in laboratory testing. Brent is also the Owner and CEO of Moots Cycles, a premium bicycle manufacturer based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. He previously worked at Windstream, an S&P 500 communications and technology solutions provider, from 2005 to 2014 serving as the Company's CFO and COO during that period. He serves on the Board of Directors of Rignet, a public company based in Houston, where he also serves as Audit Committee Chair. Additionally, he is on the Board of Trustees of The Nature Conservancy of Arkansas. He holds a degree in accounting from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is a long time Arkansas native and his primary residence is in Little Rock.
